The BERNINA Q 16 and Q 16 PLUS have more throat space than your domestic machine, a spacious 16 inches. Pair them with a foldable, height-adjustable table and the machines meet and exceed all your small space, big quilting needs. Furthermore, the BERNINA Q 16 PLUS, as well as the Q 20, can be used as a frame model together with the BERNINA Studio Frame.
The modular frame
Sometimes your quilting dreams are bigger than the space you have. The BERNINA Studio Frame is a modular frame and can be mounted as small as 5 ft or to its full size of 10 ft. The 5 ft frame can be easily extended to a 10 ft with the 5-ft-extension set. The Studio Frame is spacious enough for your biggest projects and sturdy enough to handle all the performance features of the Q 16 PLUS and Q 20 Longarm.
